Μα άκουσα τις φωνές σου, Τους διψασμένους στεναγμούς, Τις βελονιές απ’ τις πληγές σου Το θάνατο να αψηφούν. Άκουσα την πατησιά σου Στο έρημο βαθύ σκοτάδι, Άκουσα την ανάσα σου Με θλίψη να ταράζει. Με τρόμαξε η κραυγή σου Η ταραχή και η σύγχυση, Ο πόνος και η πίκρα σου Σα χείμαρρος ξεχείλισε.
